Sergio Lozano designed the Air Max 95 in 1995 after looking at the human body: the layered panels are muscle fibres, the lace loops are ribs, the graduated grey is skin. Thirty years on it is still the most structurally interesting sneaker ever put on a shelf — and the only one on this page with visible Air in the forefoot.

Colour: The original Neon. Graduated grey panels, black base, and that unmistakable volt flash on the midsole.
